December 30, 2005 • by Richard Lawson

Nashville-based marketing support company Mailer’s Choice Inc. is taking on a major expansion.

Yesterday, the company closed on a 40,000-square-foot building at 1504 Elm Hill Pike. Mailer’s Choice presently operates out of 25,000 square feet at 1924 Air Lane Drive.

According to Metro property records, Mailer’s paid $1.45 million for the building. Terri Hedges, who founded the company in 1979, said the new building will provide more space for fulfillment and production and additional warehouse space.

Mailer’s Choice’s services include direct mail for business-to-business and business-to-consumer client needs, as well as database management and custom laser printing. Clients include the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Kats, Shop at Home, Second Harvest Food Bank, Benson Publishing and Vanderbilt University.

Matt Woodward and Bill Hawkins of Charles Hawkins Co. represented building owner NEC in the sale. Dwaine Anderson of The Anderson Co. represented Mailer’s Choice. DWC Construction Co. will handle renovating the building.

The company said it will begin full operations in the building before the end of March.
