Direct Mail Company Expands Capabilities and Product Offerings by Utilizing Pervasive Tools to Handle Unstructured Data and Remove Duplicates

Pervasive Software(R) Inc. (Nasdaq: PVSW), a global value leader in data infrastructure software, today announced that Mailer's Choice has selected Pervasive Data Integrator Pro and Data Profiler to enhance its current product offering. Mailer's Choice can now help its customers quickly transform hundreds of legacy data types, including unstructured data sources, into a common structured format for improved data management and data quality. While the Data Integrator Integration Architect manages the transformation process, the automation provided by Data Profiler eliminates data redundancy and duplication associated with manual processing. The comprehensive Pervasive solution is expected to translate into increased opportunities and market share for Mailer's Choice, and the reusable, easy-to-use components are projected to help reduce operating costs, which in turn will help reduce customers' costs.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Mailer's Choice helps customers meet their direct mail, fulfillment and customized laser printing needs, and it receives hundreds of thousands of customer data records per week. Converting unstructured data within these records was a task Mailer's Choice completed manually, which was often time-consuming.
